At the end of the show, he premiered the highly anticipated collaboration with Raekwon called ‘Blind Threats’. It is produced by Lord Quest. After he posted this, girls went crazy and it became a trending topic on Twitter and instagram. But it later turned out to be a subtle ad for Calvin Klein. Afro-pop superstar Dr SID signed to Mavin Records has released his brand new music video for “Kilon Wa”, the forthcoming single off his latest album “SIDUCTION”. To view the video from the 2-Time Headies Award Winner and 4-time World music Award Nominee visit his YouTube channel.
The song produced by Mavin Records Producer Altims, was written to shed light on the insatiable woman, who jumps from one man to the other in search of riches, driven by peer pressure.
The video is an abstract illustration of the song and features Ballet, salsa, and afrobeat dancers, cameo appearances by stylists Jeku and Ifeanyi Nwune and a special guest appearance by Papi Jay (official drummer to Multi-Award winning group P-Square).
“Kilon Wa” was directed by the upcoming Director Daniel Ugo, who also directed Dr SID’s prior music video “Surulere” (from the album “SIDUCTION”). Daniel Ugo, who is new to the Nigerian music video industry, has been given an opportunity by Mavin records to shoot 2 more videos for Dr SID. Kilon wa has been edited by graphic artist/editor DUKS ART. Says Dr SID: “Kilon wa is an engaging video with visuals that keep you focused to the end.”
